One of our favourite customers is DM Chainsaws, a Garden Machinery and Tree Surgery business based in Walberton, Arundel, West Sussex. They are one of the leading garden machinery suppliers in the South and have some amazing domestic and commercial big boys toys from Stihl, Husqvana and Cub Cadet to name a few brands in the new show room.
We have completed a number of projects with the guys at DM Chainsaws and installing Solar PV was the next step in reducing the rising costs of heating, power and lighting in the show room and the extensive workshops.
We installed a 7.92KWp fitting 24 x JA Solar 330w Solar panels on their barn roof with a Solis Inverter in horrendously bad weather. The installation was planned to coincide with the installation of a new roof on the Barn so worked very well.
The Solar PV System is estimated to generate approximately 8,500 kWh a year resulting in a saving of £ 1,810 per annum as well as reducing their carbon footprint significantly by 5.41 tons of CO2 per annum.
