Bright Spark was pleased to have been asked to design a Fruit Farm SolarEdge system installation to help our clients reduce their carbon footprint and save money.
The design was based on a 13kw SolarEdge optimised PV system and had the added benefit of a SolarEdge Back up, a 23 kw Home hub Battery Storage system and a Car Charger.
This is the equivalent of planting 109 trees and is projected to create an annual energy production of 12.22 MWh, which will give a return on investment in around 5 years. Other farm projects would benefit from our understanding of the particular needs of this kind of project. One of the particular advantages this farm has is that the buildings are not surrounded by trees and have the perfect type of roof for a substantial solar pv installation.
We chose specific elements for this Fruit Farm SolarEdge system installation because they are resilient and will last longer in this particular set up. Also, the independence of each panel brings an added advantage to the energy security of the system.
